1. Terms & Conditions

1.1) The Terms & Conditions below are a legal binding agreement between you as the Client and WeeSitt as the Service.

1.2.) ‘Client’ refers to the person/family using WeeSitt Services.

1.3) ‘Candidates’ refers to any person that WeeSitt introduces to the Client. 

1.4) The Terms & Conditions are the terms of which WeeSitt offers the Client access to the services. By registering with WeeSitt the Client agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

1.5) Posting false, incomplete, inaccurate or illegal information is strictly prohibited and may be punishable by law. 


2. Client Obligations 

2.1) Any correspondence, communication either verbally, written or via email is confidential and the Client agrees not to disclose to third parties.

2.2) All babysitting bookings must be made directly between you (the Client) and WeeSitt (the Service). 

2.3) Client agrees to be interviewed by the Service, either in person or by phone.

2.4) Client acknowledges that candidate may not be hired outside of service, the Client relationship will be terminated if candidate is hired privately.

2.5) The Client agrees there is a 3 hour minimum for bookings, thereafter, Clients are charged in 15 minute increments, payable to WeeSitt.

2.6) The Client agrees to hold their Credit/Debit Card on file for automatic weekly billing.

2.7) Client agrees to provide a parking space and pay parking fees if applicable. 

2.8) Client acknowledges and agrees that the hourly rate is $30 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours.

2.9) Client understands that the hourly rate for On-Demand is $50 per hour for all requests made within 24 hours of booking start time.

2.10) Client agrees that transportation increases hourly rate by $2  for the entire duration of the booking time.


3. Service Responsibilities

3.1) WeeSitt is a referral service and will make reasonable efforts to search, find and refer potential candidates to hire.

3.2) Service refers independent contractors, who are not an employee of the Client.

3.3) Client acknowledges and agrees that the sole obligation of the Service is to use reasonable efforts in locating Sitters that meet the job requirements and qualification as specified by Client to the Service. 

3.4) The Service will screen Sitter Candidates for criminal history, driving records, Social Security Identity, current CPR and First-Aid Certification, and other items relevant for Client to hire.

3.5) The Service providers will personally interview any prospective Candidate before she/he interviews with the Family. 

3.6) The Service will disclose to the Family all relevant information for each prospective Candidate. 

3.7) A detailed file will be provided for each referral that documents the screening process and the results. 

4. Sitter Responsibilities

4.1) Uphold the highest level of safety and well-being of the children.

4.2) Provide a nurturing and engaging environment.

4.3) Supervise the children's activities at all times.

4.4) Plan and prepare meals and/or bottles to feed children.

4.5) Dress the children and/or change diapers.

4.6) Place the children down for naps and/or bedtime.

4.7) Sitters are to perform housework related to childcare as long as the aforementioned occurred during working hours. This includes but not limited to play areas, toys, dishes, all items used during care. 

4.8) Extra duties such as: Family dishes, laundry, household cleaning, etc are not Sitter requirements. 


5. Terms of Payment 

5.1) Client acknowledges and agrees that the Service facilitates the compensation between Client and Sitter, Client is responsible for paying Service directly.

5.2) Client agrees to hold their credit/debit card information on file for the duration of the booking.  Cards will not be charged until after the service has been completed. 

5.3) In the event Client fails to pay Service all amounts, the Service refers such matters to a collection agency. 


6. Confidentiality

6.1) All data provided to and/or gathered by the Service in the investigation of the Client is confidential and will be held in strict confidence by the Service and its employees.

6.2) Client agrees to keep all information provided by the Service confidential and will continue to keep that confidentiality at all times. 


7. Cancellation Policy

7.1) We strictly enforce a 24 hour cancellation and modification policy for all standard babysitting reservations. For part-time/full-time and temporary positions, we charge 50% of the reservation.

7.2) If the reservation is cancelled or modified with less than the required 24 hour notice, Client will be billed a flat rate of $75 to compensate Sitter for lost hours. 

7.3) If the reservation is cancelled with less than 12 hours notice, Client will be billed for the entire booking.

7.4) Cancellations and modification may only be made by speaking with WeeSitt directly or with a timed stamped voicemail.

7.5) Cancellations or modifications by text, e-mail, call to the babysitter will not be honored. 


Release of Liability
I agree, in taking advantage of “WeeSitt, LLC” as a babysitting referral service of Los Angeles, California, to release and hold harmless “WeeSitt, LLC” from any and all claims, demands, suits, cost, and charges in connection with or arising out of the child care service, including but not limited to: bodily harm, injury to child(ren), property damage, except only for loss, harms, or injury occasioned by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by “WeeSitt, LLC.”  In the case of a medical emergency, I understand that the service will act on my behalf if attempts have been made to contact me and I wasn’t available.
