Can I meet the sitter beforehand?
Yes, meet and greets are optional. If a sitter is new to your family, we suggest booking 30 minutes early, this will allow time to engage with your sitter and children. Keep in mind that our rigorous screening process is meant to alleviate any stress and apprehension of having a new sitter in your home and with your children.
What type of screening process does WeeSitt do?
WeeSitt provides the highest, and most rigorous level of screening for our child care specialists. The safety of your children is the most important value we uphold, which is why we take these extra steps to ensure our sitters have passed a 20-point qualification process.
Why should I use a babysitting service as opposed to just finding my own?
California has no required standards for temporary childcare. We know you wouldn't want just anyone in your home, and we wouldn't want that for you either. With this in mind, we have taken the time to find the most qualified, dependable, and verified sitters, so you know exactly who is in your home and with your children. WeeSitt is the only babysitting service that is fully staffed and insured.
Are WeeSitt sitters CPR certified?
Yes. All of our sitters are required to be CPR certified upon hiring so that in the event of an emergency, the sitters are equipped to act accordingly.
What if my child has special needs?
WeeSitt is happy to work with you in finding a sitter that is familiar with, and capable of, the care and needs of a special needs child.
What if I don't like my sitter? What if my children don't?
WeeSitt wants you to have the best possible experience. If for some reason it is not a match between your family, and one of our sitters, we will find a replacement sitter immediately; just let us know.
Can I get updates on my kid(s) while I'm gone?
Yes! We encourage you to communicate with your sitter while you are away so that you feel most comfortable. Sitter's are instructed to update the parent(s) every few hours unless otherwise specified from the parent(s).
Can I have the same sitter each time?
Yes. Pending the schedule of the sitter, we strive to match you with your preferred sitters!
How do I pay my sitter?
WeeSitt holds all credit card information on file in order to confirm your reservation. Your card will be charged once the booking has been completed. WeeSitt will allocate pay to your sitter.
Can I book a WeeSitt sitter outside of WeeSitt?
Reservations must be booked exclusively through WeeSitt. WeeSitters are under strict contract to not work for any client or third party outside of WeeSitt. No exceptions.
What if I have to cancel a WeeSitt reservation?
WeeSitt's cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Cancellation or modification made less than 24 hours before reservation time will be charged our flat fee of $75. Cancellations and/or modifications must be made directly through the WeeSitt corporate team, and never with your sitter. No exceptions.
